Company Authority Statement
The confirmation required from the person claiming and setting up a company workspace in Cross.
Effective 1 September 2026
Company identity
You confirm that the Companies House company selected in Cross is the organisation you intend to represent.
- The legal name, company number, status, and registered office are obtained from Companies House.
- You will not claim a company merely because it has a similar trading name or address.
- You will contact Cross support if the wrong company is selected after Checkout has started.
Information you provide
You confirm that onboarding information is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge, including the sponsor address, sponsor-licence declaration, and details of the Authorising Officer, Key Contact, and Level 1 Users.
You will keep this information current and ensure that anyone whose information you enter has been informed that Cross will process it for account, compliance, security, and service-delivery purposes.
Ongoing responsibility
The company remains responsible for its sponsor duties, the accuracy of its records, decisions made in the Sponsor Management System, and submissions made to government bodies.
Cross helps organise records, reminders, reviews, and structured responses. Creating a workspace does not transfer the company’s legal obligations to Cross or to an assigned advisor.
Electronic record
Cross records the version of this statement, its URL, your user and company identifiers, acceptance time, IP address, and a shortened browser user agent. This record is retained as evidence of the company claim and cannot be edited through the portal.
